The global community continues to intensify its focus on climate change, on the back of the acceleration of negative effects of the climate crisis. States and private actors alike have embarked on a series of actions geared towards mitigating and adapting to the climate crisis, in line with their commitments and obligations under various climate change frameworks and instruments.

This series of publications is intended to be a contribution to this effort by States and private actors – by contributing to public education and awareness on climate change, which is a key tenet in climate change related frameworks and instruments.

Volume I focuses on the anchor international, regional and domestic instruments, legislation and policies, with a keen attention to the climate finance related aspects and the provisions with a direct bearing on the Ugandan context.
