Volume III of this handbook focused on a review of select climate finance instruments and the voluntary frameworks that govern them. These instruments included green bonds, green loans, social bonds, social loans, sustainability bonds and sustainability-linked bonds.

In this volume, we propose the establishment of a dedicated sustainability segment on the Uganda Securities Exchange as a pathway to climate finance market development. Accordingly, the Volume highlights the critical role exchanges play in climate finance market development, and accordingly
proposes model listing rules to guide the establishment of a dedicated sustainability segment on the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE). The model rules provided herein are by no means exhaustive and only meant to serve as a guide for future market development initiatives.
